  • Handel and the Divas
    This major exhibition will explore the careers, rivalries, successes, failures and stories of scandalous behind-the-scenes behaviour which made the first divas the talk of 18th-century London, through portraits, scores, objects, and of course, the music they sang. A series of special events and recitals will run alongside the exhibition.

    The disfigured wunderkind of the new German cinema, Fassbinder made over forty films before he died from a drug overdose just after his 37th birthday.

    His self destructive tendencies reflected those of his protagonists.

    Arnolfini presents some of his finest works alongside influences and contemporary artists' responses to his life and films, including films by Jean-Luc Godard and Fatih Akin.

    his exhibition of work by the artists Henry Tietzsch-Tyler and Nick Trench is the first in a series of contemporary art exhibitions to be presented by the BGA at 34, Belgrave Square.

    Henry Tietzsch-Tyler is an Anglo-German painter working out of the inheritance of a German memory centred on the events of the Second World War and the post-war period.

    Due to popular demand our tournament takes place again at Stoke Park in Buckinghamshire.

    The challenging and demanding landscape also provides exquisite views. The 27 hole course includes three nine hole courses Colt Alison and Jackson.
    Corporate participation and hospitality

    Hole Sponsorship is offered to member companies for corporate promotion at a cost of 100 pounds to include provision of a banner bearing your company logo. Companies are also invited to contribute to the prize giving with corporate promotional gifts if they so desire.

    Other Information

    The tournament consists of teams of 4 players.
    Buggies holding 2 people are available at a cost of 45 pounds each. Please reserve these when registering for the event.
    Play will commence at 08.00 am the afternoon session commences at 1.00 pm
    It is recommended that players arrive 30 mins before they are due to start.
