  Concert Saturday, 29 November 2008, 7.30pm University of Huddersfield, St Paul's Hall, Dept of Music, Queensgate, Huddersfield, HD1 3DH ?18 (?16 concs) One of the highlights of the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival -an annual, international festival of new and experimental music- will be the German group musikFabrik, performing Karlheinz Stockhausen?s ?Klang 9th Hour: Hope?. This piece will be performed alongside two works paying tribute to Sun Ra, one of the pathfinders of free-jazz. The pieces for tonight?s performance were arranged for musikFabrik and saxophone by Sun Ra?s musical companion of 30 years, Marshall Allen.
